Housing associations Bromford and Severn Vale have completed their merger today, creating a new 44,000 home landlord.

The Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) has upgraded Severn Vale Housing's governance rating ahead of completing a merger to become part of a strengthened organisation.

The proposed merger with Bromford has been given the go-ahead by the board at Severn Vale Housing this week.
