Our office in Tewkesbury is closed today due to water supply issues in the GL19 and GL20 areas, although many of our services will be continuing with little disruption.
Around 2,000 bottles of water were delivered this morning to our retirement living schemes in GL19/GL20 areas which have been affected, and we will ensure that residents are supported and have plenty of water for drinking and cooking. Our scheme managers are fully briefed and experienced in dealing with such situations, and our residents' wellbeing is our first priority.
Our services are busier than usual, so please be patient. We are attending as many scheduled repairs as we can. You will be notified as soon as possible if we need to move your appointment to another day.
Go online to get in touch!
Instead of phoning us, those customers who are able to access the internet and need to get in touch, are asked to log in to their online account to request repairs, send us a message, check their rent balance and so on. This is the quickest and most efficient way for us to be able to respond, and allows our more vulnerable customers - who do not have the digital skills - to get in touch via phone.
We will continue to keep this page updated,
** Update 3.00pm - the source of the leak has been located in Lower Load Lane, and repair work is underway. Severn Trent water says that, meanwhile, tankers are injecting water directly into the water pipes to get the supply back on. More info from Severn Trent's website -www.stwater.co.uk.
