Virginia Close is a Retirement Scheme designed specifically for the over 60s and promotes independent living within your own self contained 1 bedroom flat but also providing residents with access to its communal facilities which include a lounge, kitchen, laundry room and gardens.
This scheme is well situated in Northway and is only a 10 minute bus journey away from the historic town of Tewkesbury. Virginia Close also benefits from a local newsagents, post office, hairdressers, pharmacy and supermarket all within a 5 minute walk. The Scheme Manager is on site 9-2, Monday to Friday providing a ‘friendly neighbour’ service. On top of this service all of the properties are fitted with an emergency pull-cord system which can be activated 24hours a day, 7 days a week. The Scheme Manager also organises weekly events such as Bingo evenings, day trips to local areas, coffee mornings and they can also arrange for basic computer lessons via Age Concern.
