Shipway Court is an over 60s Retirement Scheme which strongly promotes independent living within your own self contained property but also providing access to communal facilities which include: a lounge, kitchen, laundry room and gardens.There are 30 properties in total at Shipway Court consisting of one bedroom flats and one bedroom bungalows. Linked to this scheme is also Crowfield, a Retirement Scheme which provides two bedroom bungalows. Crowfield is situated in the heart of the village, Woodmancote. The Scheme Manager is on site 9-5, Monday to Friday providing a ‘friendly neighbour’ service. On top of this service all of the properties are fitted with an emergency pull-cord system which can be activated 24hours a day, 7 days a week. The Scheme Manager also helps facilitate events such as Bingo evenings, day trips to local areas, coffee mornings, even basic computer lessons can be arranged via Age Concern. All properties at Shipway Court and Crowfield have double glazing, central heating, fitted kitchens, lounge and a double bedroom. Most bathrooms have level access showers. Both Shipway Court and Crowfield have residents only parking areas and well maintained gardens. |
