We have recently had an incident in one of our properties resulting in the tragic death of the tenant. There is currently an investigation under way to establish the exact cause of the accident, however, there is a possibility that the explosion may have been caused by a redundant coal fired back boiler which was housed at the back of the fireplace which may have exploded following a coal fire being lit in the grate. We have written to most of our customers, leaseholders and individuals that have purchased properties from Severn Vale.
