Barton Court is a well presented Retirement Scheme specifically for the over 60s which strongly promotes independent living within your own self contained property but also providing access to a communal lounge, kitchen, laundry room and gardens. Barton Court has 40 properties in total, one bedroom flats and two bedroom flats. The properties are positioned over 3 floors and all properties have lift and stair access. The scheme also has a residents only parking area. The Scheme Manager is on site 8.30-5.15, Monday to Friday providing a ‘friendly neighbour’ service. On top of this service all of the properties are fitted with an emergency pull-cord system which can be activated 24hours a day, 7 days a week. The Scheme Manager also organises weekly events such as Bingo evenings, day trips to local areas, coffee mornings and they can also arrange for basic computer lessons. The scheme recently celebrated it’s 20th Anniversary with a summers day tea party! A typical layout for a 1 bedroom property at Barton Court is an entrance hall, bathroom, fitted kitchen and separate double bedroom. Most properties have level access shower as standard. All properties have central heating systems, double glazing and where properties are situated above ground floor; lift and stair access. |
